I Had a Dream!

This might sounds super creepy but it got me smiling when I woke up, so.. I guess I starting moving on already. =)

Dreams.. they always start in the middle, so here I was in a party, and I saw this girl with lovely eyes and a wonderful smile with short hair and a super hot dress. (the face is a little bit like Fishy Leong, and I think that was because she was the last singer my friends and I saw during the karaoke session, and somehow my mind picked it up subconsciously?)

So.. we started chatting and found out we had lots of stuffs in common, we like coffee and.. we love pets, and she's so cheerful and loves to smile. It melted my heart right away.. Wheeeeeee

Somehow it was go time for me and I ended up in a bedroom something like a dorm room. And she came into the room with a big tee on and shorts! such a cutey look =3

We chatted on the bed and slept side by side, I reached over for a good night kiss and everything felt right.

Another scene was we were looking for each after and when she found me she couldn't be happier about it.

Ahhhh what a nice dream

My Heart Skips A Beat

Expressing My Feelings Out and Loud

I've just been dumped. This single line is able to bring so much emotion out from me. All those memories, time spent, laughter I long to hear, smiles I wished I could turn back time and see again.. All in the past now.

It's my first time dealing with this phase, so being the usual me, clueless as ever.. didn't know what am I going through most of the times. I guess I am experiencing the 5 stages of grief. But not in that critical manner just that it's almost the same feeling, someone very important to me, has moved on to a new phase, leaving me behind with a part of my heart and soul attached to her.

Few days back when I tried to text her and all, but it got too often and she slap one statement in my face saying, "I thought we said not to text too often, it's like we're back to that routine" That gave me a thigh slap hard and fast.

I really love her, all the time I used in a day just to think about her, wonder what would she be doing, how would she be.. all emptied up and I feel so... free and so weird at the same time.

The reason of this breakup was that I am just too boring for her. Things I do doesn't seem to interest her anymore, whether I am just right by her side or not doesn't make a difference. I guess I should've see this coming when her replies to my text became shorter and brief. Lack of interest in a conversation was the 1st thing anyone can notice. Next was the eye contact with each other, the small face expressions that made me fell for her, all the little touches with her fingers on my arm.. lost, gone by the wind.

Flashing back on what we were. Happy, full of laughter, smiles, jokes, roughing each other up with bumping and messing around, that chemistry where we could mouth out the thoughts at any instant on anything. How I thought it was just us against the world. How I smiled and thought to myself, you're one lucky dude to have someone like her. I guess she's the giver and I'm the chaser in the relationship, maybe because of how we treat each other? Perhaps with that, she gain the upperhand and makes the call for the relationship when it is the time to end.

I am sorry but I have to be biased on this piece, it feels just so unfair for me. I'm still having the tingling feeling of excitement when I think about her but the way she could just lose interest in someone just made me feel silly, idiotic and naive.

I thought opposites attract, but the reason of she got bored of me is also this particular reason, saying we're simply just too different for our personalities to match. I thought we could have worked it out a little, but that point has passed long long time ago.

I couldn't stop thinking about her, even until now, how big of the impact she has left in my life, how she coloured such a big portion my white piece of paper. Sometimes without even realising it I still refer her as my girlfriend to others. To just suddenly move on from this colourful piece? I guess time would be the healing master. Sometimes at night I miss her so much, tears would just flow. And there's an empty cold section in my chest, throbbing.
IT HURTS.

What do I do now. She done a pretty well job leaving her mark in my bedroom, every corner I turn reminded me of her. I have a hard time taking them down, I wish to overcome this soon. It is so saddening.

I dive into love with my head first, I felt the ups and downs so strongly, and now.. I have to slowly swim up to the surface. Distraction wouldn't last long when you're being alone and quiet, your mind wanders off and you start to think. That's when it'll start again. It is a very poor habit of mind, to have made my whole existence to be so involved with her. I wouldn't regret anything I've down, perhaps if I could change, I would try harder to keep her more interested. But it is tiring as hell if I don't get what I thought i would at the end of the day.

It's just sad.
Strong and determined is how I ought to change this state I am in now.

What have I learnt about seperations

Recently just sent off one of my PD buddies to Los Angeles. First time doing something like that, going to the airport with the rest of the free PD gang members, got our shorts and sandles on, and off we go!

It is kinda fun for the first time to do that with a bunch of buddies, to visit the airport together, and see how we can make a fool out of ourselves. I guess this is how we guys bond, over doing silly stuffs like attempting to balance on poles or banging windows so that we could attract attention.

The parting of a close one sunken in deeper as the time slowly creeps in. Sudden realisation of how things will be one member less just feels so different now.

But we wish you the best Alvin! Be the pro shit you are and spread the wheeeeee infection across the states.

Seeing him parting with his family will make anyone tear up as well.

Stay strong Alvin.

Perhaps This Is The Simple Truth About Love

I have something to share with you readers out there today.
It's all from this book "The Simple Truth About LOVE" - Bradley Trevor Grieve

also the best-selling author of "The Blue Day Book"

This book was lend to me by an awesome and sweet person, joys.

It's starts off with - The Anatomy of a Kiss

The fundamental facial mechanics of a kiss are very well-known. Indeed, today the preparatory"pucker" is universally accepted

More than one trillion kisses have been successfully, or at least somewhat successfully, performed using this simple technique. Amazingly, no two kisses are exactly alike. Ever.

The intensity of kissing ranges from a peck on the cheek to a long, wet, passionate, slightly sideways kiss on the lips, and finally "Hello Mr. Tongue!"

The reactions from both parties at the conclusion are another variable of note. These can be an uncomfortable and unspoken "What the heck was all that about?"

Or, ideally, a violent post-smooch rapture that leave you tingling with goose pimples, feeling as if every atom of your conscious being is inflated with helum and you are in danger of floating off into the stratosphere.

In case you are wondering, this little book is about the love that inspire such kisses - a love that sends your heart soaring from here to eternity.

The Simple Truth About Love
Falling in love is just like kissing - no two people do it the same way.

A legendary romance may begin with the briefest of beautiful encounters or a casual introduction by a mutual friend, who is then completely forgotten in all the excitement.

You might feel the hairs on the back of your neck stand up as you turn to meet the piercing gaze of an enchanting stranger across a crowded room, across the parking lot, a bowling alley, or an all-you-can-eat-buffet. The location really isn't all that important. Often you are just sitting there minding your business.

and then Wham! Love suddenly hits you out of the blue, and your pulse is off and running.

That such a fleeting chance encounter can result in so many overwhelming feelings tells us a lot about the power of love.

Like the sun or a fiendishly expensive designer fragrance, love is an intoxicating force that draws all living creatures (except for telephone salespeople who call you at home and maybe aphids - we don't know about them for sure).

Love inspires us to do great, beautiful, terrible things and a bunch of weird and stupid stuffs (all of which, curiously enough, can be found in Country and Western music).

That's because when we fall in love, our reason and perspective become distorted, and we discover the lovers' paradox. Suddenly, we have clear purpose, but we suffer overwhelming indecision.

The affectionate attention we receive means we feel more self-affirmed and radiant than ever before, and yet we are sick with self-doubt and insecurity.

Personal grooming also takes on a fresh energy, sometime to the point where we change virtually everything about our appearance that turned our admirer's head in the first place.

Though it is wonderful in so many ways, falling in love can be a very unsettling experience. Poetic torment churns in your soul and keeps you from sleeping.

Whenever you close your eyes, the object of your desire floats across a dreamscape toward your waiting lips.

In fact, the only time we really wake up to reality is when the new lover is actually approaching.

Unfortunately, at that exact moment your molecular structure tuns to water.

You try to stay calm and composed, endeavoring to present a picture of charisma and confidence.

You fail.

All those breathless secrets in your heart that you rehearsed a thousand times are now ready to share gently with a tender ear, you suddenly blurt out, sounding like a race caller from an ancient civilization.

The key word is patience.

From a purely mathematical point of view, with billions of people on the planet, the romantic numbers are always on your side.

There is definitely someone out there who is perfect for each of us, so it makes no sense to grab the first cute butt that walks by.

Don't be afraid to slow things down.

Really think about your feelings. Run through a few emotional scenarios in your mind and see how they look and feel.

There's a reason we feel so shy when we first meet someone special.

Both people are seriously checking each other out, looking for and reveal some very personal information.

The process is all about trust. Slowly, we get closer and closer. Some things just shouldn't be rushed, and love is always worth waiting for.

In its early stages, love is beyond wonderful. Each moment together feels like passionate embrace in a magic forest.

You gallop tirelessly in perpetual and blessed sunshine, your feet a few inches above the ground.

In other words, our perceptions of ourselves and our beloved can become a touch idealized, to say the least.

We tend to forget that Romeo and Juliet did not, in actual fact end all that well.

The truth is that love is always beautiful, and it may even feel perfect. But it can never be so, not all the time.

Falling in love in an exquisite but complex coming together of two individuals, and a beautiful, dynamic living relationship always has some ups and downs. Imagine crossing an emotional ballet with a washing machine.

The irritating thing about falling in love is that you don't suddenly get transported to the mythical Kingdom of Coupledom, where everything is designed to make your relationship perfect.

Two independently minded people usually have similar but always slightly different needs, and these differences keep us on our toes. Surprises keep your love exciting and fresh, but sometimes it seems as if you both came from different planets.

One person is up when the other is down.
One wants to canoodle; the other wants to be left alone.

Even the most loving couples can't possibly agree on absolutely everything. Take a simple misunderstanding, combine it with a little poor communication, then add some emotional baggage from previous relationships, and the romance starts to flounder.

A civil conversation can break down because of a few careless or caustic remarks.

The salvo is then returned with interest, and Ka-Boom! Open hostilities are declared.

Sometimes the dark, angry cloud evaporates as quickly as it built up, and all is forgiven and forgotten.

And sometimes it doesn't.

In which case, heartache is a certainty, and, tragically, two people who seem so right for each other see all their hopes and dreams disappear.

And yet, if they would hust make a little effort to reach out and reconnect, everything might be all right.

You'd be amazed at how quickly a quiet apology, in word or in deed, can return lost smiles to everyone.

The bottom line is that love, like everything else in life that really matters, requires genuine effort. Cuddles and kisses go a long way toward making love last, but they aren't enough by themselves.

Sometimes, you have to get out and push if you want your love to keep going forward, which is why falling in love can occasionally be almost as exhausting as it is invigorating.

This is one of the two main reasons some people turn thier backs on love.

It's hard enough taking repoinsibility for your own feelings, let alone looking after someone else's heart as well, right?

"Bah!" you say with flase bravado. "Who needs all that schmaltzy love stuff anyway?" Which brings us to the second and most important reason people give up on love: Fear.

Fear of being hurt, fear of rejection, fear of potential lovers who turn out to be evil people who take all the blankes during the night and squeeze the toothpaste from the middle.

Fear is the number -one obstacle to falling in love.

But a little fear is not so terrible. In fact, it's normal and healthy. No one likes to be naked and exposed or have their dirty laundry hanging out in the public.

Of course, much of this depends on whom we are trying to get close to. A lot of people are great but not great together.

If you can't have a difference in opinion without getting your head bitten off, if you are constantly being criticized or bullied, then maybe, just maybe, this isn't a perfect match at all.

In fact, you should probably get the hell out of there while your heart is still in one place.

While you're licking your wounds, you might also acknowledge your own part in the whole sorry mess.

Twenty-twenty hindsight can have tremendous value if you accept the hard-won wisdom and move on with life and love.

The journey to true love is not as daunting as it seems.

You don't have to lose yourself to find someone else. On the contrary, different points of view are every bit as important as the things you have in common.

Two lives. One love.

Your own personality flourishes in a relationship, which brings out your best at home and at work.

Falling in love means you still get to do everything that made you truly happy, but now you also have the joy of sharing those things with someone else. Plus, you get a whole bunch of bonus benefits as well.

There are quite moments where boundaries dissolve into a delicious all-encompassing oneness, and there;s a peace of mind that comes from knowing that someone is there for you whenever for whatever.

There are great conversations about everything and nothing.

You can discuss your dreams and desires and know it is safe to share things you could never say to anyone else.

When you are in love, there is snuggling, explosions of passion, and spooning, which, as scientific research shows, makes your dreams twice as nice.

When you are in love, it means there is always someone who will jump around with celebratory squeals when you are a winner, or give warmth an support when you are not.

Love gives us the strength to test the boundaries of our weaknesses, knowing that when we get in over our heads, a rescue mission is already on the way.

To experience such a relationship is to know that every breath affirms that you are loved and that true love overcomes all obstacles.

True love can climb the highest mountain and cross the deepest sea... eventually.

Love can endure the phone ringing in the middle of dinner and survive numerous household accidents.

It can overcome debilitating back pain and maybe even gallstones.

Love can overcome ludicrous working hours and irritating Muzak while you're on hold.

Love overcomes abrasive in-laws, chronic dandruff, a visit from Mr. Sulky Pants, and even episodes of insanity. In other words, nothing can hold love back.

True love overcomes anything and everything.

Realizing the power of love feels like a light switch is suddenly turned on inside your heart.

The world looks different. Or perhaps you are looking at it differently.

Your search draws to a close.

You have finally found true love, "Hello!"

THE END
The beginning

Thanks again to the person from happyland, joys

Reality Check

Life's Getting A Little Real From Now On.

First of all, the students in the lecturers I'm in are crazy smart and hardworking, I'll need to buck up on that.

Family and friends are further away now. Have to be more initiative to stay in touch with them. We're all heading our own direction towards something news.

Lots of things I would like to participate. They say Uni Life is the most interesting part of all, you get to reinvent yourself and be more involved in anything you like.

Read some of Mitch Albom's book. Very interesting.
1. Tuesdays with Morrie, a piece of writing from a dead man's view about life.
His quote, 'When you learn how to die, you learn how to live"
"Every time I sleep at night, I die, and every morning I wake up, I', reborn. - Mahatma Gandhi

2. for one more day, a book about the eternal love from a mother. Utterly touching.

I learn the importance about communication too.
Have to reach out and speak to the closest people to you.
Understand them, emphasize, be a listener to them.
Things always feel better if you have someone to listen.
I'm always here for you if you need me.

Special code for her : Fish is drowning.

Life's amazing now.

The Little Talk

It's day 3 of my Uni Life, and so far so good.

Today's event for the new freshies of campus, food fiesta.
It's like a 'Foodasm' as they called it.

There are hotdog eating competition, and if you managed to gobble down the highest number of hotdogs, you'll earn yourself a medal.

That event gained a lot of attention, forming into a huge crowd, I was standing on a platform and yet still unable to see what's going on in there, there are like 5 layers of people around it.

Anyway, the next thing on the Foodasm, is the buffet thingy, my newly met friend, Joon Sunn picked the Pakistani Food Stall for buffet. They charge a high price for everything, getting a buffet seems to be fair for us now.

I carried so much food on my plate that my hand is tired. =)
then we - Joon Sunn, Prakash (the Mech boys) and moi had a little chit chat.

Throughout our topics of conversation, the subject, 'How close have you ever been in a relationship'

That was very interesting indeed, I enjoyed my piece of talk, well, I get to tell them how great my girl is =D Thinking and talking about how we met is such a refreshing and happy thing.
I'm loving every second spending with her.

=D
Thanks for everything my love, you complete me. <3

First 48 hours in Uni

"Ringgggg"

The Clock Tower's bell sounded, and off to class we go.

I dozed off for a few seconds in the 1st class I had in the 1st day of Uni.

Learn a bit more about what I gotta do and achieve to progress to the degree I wanted.

Wifi is everywhere in campus, (like everywhere) so I can tweet wherever I want.

Freshman party and hand shaking with people of names I tried to remember.

Formed a kieng gai gang to talk about anything after dinner. =)

There are really lots of people from many different countries studying here.

I miss my girl lots.

=)

I'm still in the adapting stage of a new chapter in life, I can't sleep well the first night, but that seems to be better now.

Toodles peeps,

Twas the night before it begun

Reached into my new room!

After a quick shower, then comes the unloading stuffs,
just found out a few more things I missed out:

1. I need a remote controller for the air-cond.
2. I didn't bring the special attire for the event of the week.
3. My internet connection restricts me from p2p sharing. (means no download)
4. My room smells like a moth ball.
5. I can't video call my girl through fring. ( this is very important )
6. I need to get an insecticide.

All in all, the feelings of tomorrow is a new day in the quest for knowledge, and being a little distant from my closest ones back.

I'm off to gain more knowledge! with the blessings from my dearest people, and songs that'll accompany me during the lonesome times..

Inducted!

Orientation day is here!

This is the day where young people (like me) gets briefed and pumped up for the following years of study! It's a very motivational day.

Met lots of people, I'm more aware of what I need to do in the Uni, and can't wait to get it started.
Wanna do my best, work hard, then play hard too.

People there are really from all around the world, diversity is a sure thing there. Things will get more interesting from now onwards.

Happy Mid Autumn Festival, or as I like to call it, Happy Mooncakey Day.

Bluewarmth aaa buu buuu!

I miss my pon pon a whole lot more now.

Thinking about you dear. <3

Let's get it started!

Went to the uni to finish off the registrations, but wanted to pick my little bro up from school first, then it rained super heavily... parts of the town are drown.

After the hustle and bustle, I made my way to the Uni to register, the rain followed me there too.
Ended up me being the second last to register. (Thank god I'm not the last)

I'm already seeing the volunteer staff packing and leaving already when I just walked into the room. Quite afraid I might not make it in time. (but I did)

While filling up the forms like mad, my mom helped me do some signing up on the 'fresh rush' thing, and I found out one of the off campus events is to MOS Euphoria Club outing, then some shisha at some bar. Never would I expect this day to come so soon.

It's going to be interesting though, but I don't really like this kind of stuffs, I'm more like those, staying home reading kind, or indulging into some good music.

Speaking of good music, I'm simply loving The Script's new album

Science & Faith

Me likey The Script a lot.

A new chapter in Life

Wooots!

I'll be entering the new stage of life very soon, it's tomorrow in fact.

It's been an awesome 3 months of holiday since I last held a paper and pen together at a same time to writing something related to studies.

I've been singing, laughing, talking, looking, crying, shopping, eating, waiting and loving her all this while.
It's simply blissful. We're a bunch of happy people.

I guess this is a new step for our LDR too. But I have high hopes on it, she's what I want, things are going to be awesome.

Songs that should be heard:

Brandon Flower's Flamingo

Wooo, simply loving his voice, all the essence of The Killers is him. More of The Killers, more goodness

A turning point in LIfe - MyLDS 2009

There’s this part of my life that I just want to share with you, because it had really made a difference and totally changed my mind set. Something else about it is that the change in my life just happened only a few hours ago, so frames of the moment are still captured clearly in my mind.

So I’ll begin with the day itself, woke up as usual, put on my contacts, styled my hair, which I just cut it a week ago, but through rapid growth rate, I got a hair forest on top of my head already.

So, basically we’re all gathered here to go for a National Conference, MyLDS 2009 (Malaysia Leadership Development Seminar)! Hearing from my seniors, MyLDS is always a turning point where their life changes entirely.

This year, UUM is hosting it, so, delegates from all around Malaysia will be gathering at the upmost north of the country, for us peeps in KL, the journey itself is a 7-hour bus ride!! We took off around 2pm, with that, we just made our first step towards MyLDS!!

When we reached UUM, it was almost 12am, and unfortunately for some of the delegates, who didn’t do this earlier, they have to stay up a bit longer to fill up some survey to get a general category of where they belong in terms of personality, so that we will be clear of who we really are, to really understand our strengths and weaknesses.

The next day, and the 1st day of MyLDS, we have an unexpected guest who is previously an AIESECer as well, and made most out from it, and her role in this National Conference is something like the Head Facilitator.

What we AIESECers love most is Roll Calls!! It‘s like cheers and we do lots of line dancing, or known as square dance in AIESEC. I learnt some pretty fun and cool ones, being pumped up by the songs, it really does get your body moving!!

After the self discovery sessions, Gala Dinner was up next! Everybody was trying to look their best, and truly enough they did! Guys are smart with their shirts tucked in, and hair above their head would be very neat or attractive in some cases. Ladies on the other hand are simply dazzling, from the heels they painfully sacrificed their feet to be both taller and sexier, up to the amazing gowns and dresses they put on to entertained the crowd, lots of ladies from my LC (Local Committee) really smack jaw-dropped expressions of the guys faces, which means something really good. I bet they will smack their faces on walls or poles if they are walking if any of our ladies happened to passed by them.

Lots of photos taken, lots of feet aching, sweats in the air after our intense dance out and posing for the cameras. Tiring night – day 1

One thing about the morning is the shower. Cold water in the morning is something I have to get used to. Breakfasts are getting cuter each day, why? Because of the way people are eating it. Instead of taking out the cutlery we packed which is intended to use during meals, we starting squeezing the meals out from the plastic bags which contains it. So it’s like eating bread, but instead of bread, it is mee or mihun! Very funny looking at how people eat right from the plastic bags, some of them which I saw where the noodles can fly to all parts of the face.

During the noon till evening is how one would fit in nicely in a group while working with all sorts of different kinds of personality, it’s really an eye opener. After dinner was connection time! This is like a sharing session, but the people who are sharing are amazing people who gone through experiences like no other. I was one of the listeners to Geraldine Sandra Sebastian. People around here called her Sandy. She intended to be a chemist, somebody who will be in the lab day in day out, mixing chemicals and stuffs, and she worked in Carlsberg for a short duration of time too, but when she tried that out, she found out it was simply too boring for her, like a bird trapped in a cage, she knows something out there has more fun and challenging waiting for her.

She was an AIESECer as well, and during then, AIESEC was the only route out for her besides her studies, and Sandy was in the External Relations department, where she will be meeting important people from major companies in the corporate world, and she meets them to sell the GTP (Global Talent Program – which focuses on bringing international interns to work in the company.) However, as she was doing that, she’s also making her mark in the industry too, she’s blessed with a very nice pair of lips, so she converses very well with the corporate manager, and leaving an impression that wouldn’t be forgotten that easily. By the time she was about the graduate, she was offered with jobs from companies she had made contact with during the past.

Other facts about her is that, through AIESEC, she has travelled lots and lots of places around the globe, and having great chances to meet great people from the four corners of the world. How did she do that? Through the connections she made with the companies and such, she’s able to get some financial aid from here and there, at the end, she has enough for her to attend International Conferences that’s happening everywhere. Learning about how she does this is really awesome and at the same time, you can see how AIESEC really provides opportunities to people who grabbed on to it.

After that session, it was CUP NOODLE Party! Adding a twist to it, chosen delegates will be sculling with it. “Sculling” is something like swallowing or finishing the drink as soon as possible in a group with specific rules set. One of them are, thumbs are not to leave the table, and avoiding spillage will be better for the group. Here’s how the thing starts, 1, Thumbs on the table~ ( the crowd will say after it) 2, Chins on the table~, 3, Eyes on the cup~ 4, one, two, SCULL~!
The crowd will be cheering (ikki ikki ikki, ai ai ai) repeatedly for morale purposes~! This was my 1st times sculling, but not the 1st time seeing one, I haven’t got the chance to be involved in it the 1st time I seen it, so I was telling myself, *this is it, another chance just appeared and I better grab it before I regretted like last time.* Something to be proud of is that LCTUC got into the finals! And I was the last sculler for the team! Basically, swallowing down Maggie mee is a bit of a challenge, some can just gulped it down, I need to take a chew or twice to stuff in down my throat. So, in the end, we were the 1st runner up! Maggie mee soup was on my hair too.

The next day – day 3, a more challenging task is awaiting us delegates, because we’re having our own version of “The Apprentice”! The leader of each group has to oversee everything, and distribute the tasks accordingly to the subgroup leaders and such, all in all, communication is crucial. The group who can communicate among each other the best would be the winner, at the end of the session, every group member has to think of a unique way of selling their products, and it is very entertaining to listen to people desperately selling their products who even took to an exaggerated extent.

Fourth day here! This was one of my favourite days, the day that I was truly inspired!

Our first speaker, Joel Neoh, a person who has always seeks out for more challenges and obstacles, and overcome them. He came to talk to us about entrepreneurship and how he started off and such. He started his speech by telling us who he is. From age 0 – 6, he claimed it as his carefree life, where every day is another day to play. 6-18 was the stage of life where he is just being studious, as what his parents wanted him to do, get a promising job with a fixed income. But then he thought to himself, saying he this is going to be a bit boring, so he took up rock climbing, and ended up getting a national rock climber recognition as well. After that, he went on pursuing an Engineering Degree, but soon later, he got bored again, and ventured into the modeling world. As expected, he did great in it as well, getting front covers on Men’s Health Magazine and posing for Levi’s Jeans. After he got a degree in Engineering, his mom immediately framed it up, before he could get a chance to photocopy it, and now it’s hanging by one of his walls.

One of his amazing experiences was being a part of “The Firm”, (something like Malaysia’s The Apprentice) There’s only two teams throughout the reality show, which is Team Dynamic and Team Momentum. Wherever Joel goes, that team will win, which is very impressive, he is the one who really sets the bar up higher, always wanting to climb greater heights than anybody else, and with that, he was the winner of “The Firm”. Some of us asked him, what’s the difference between vision and goal? The night before we discussed the difference between both of them, Vision – something might or might not be achieved and long term, Goals – something short-term, stepping stones for one to reach one’s vision. However, he gave us quite a shock, and laughter, when he answered, “There is nothing different between the both of them” “Visions, Goals, they are something you head towards, it’s just a different saying” After that, we had a little brainstorm on future products , regarding to the marketing needs, and I found out that, he’s thinking is really effective, he likes it to be direct, eg, a + b = c Which is easier for us (clients) to understand and them to focus on. This is something that I must learn from him, to keep my goals clear, so it is easier to aim for it!

Up next we have HIV/AIDS talk. After the session, we were crystal clear about the causes, transmissions and effects of HIV to the society. Message wanted to be sent from the speakers is the importance of safe sex. But there’s more to it. An inspirational sharing from one of the speakers brought tears to eyes and hearts of the people listening to it. The person had everything, wealth, power, snazzy attire, anything he wanted in life. One day, because of a wrong decision made, changed his life totally, and his perspective to life changed majorly as well. Being HIV positive, he’s more positive than anybody else, he lives the next day like another day being blessed upon. He wouldn’t want anybody else to make the mistake he did, so now he’s is one of the people in Pink Triangle. Spreading awareness to the youth which has the highest percentage of being infected with HIV.

Last but not least, Peter came from America spoke with us about the Environmental Sustainability. This is one of the talks that got us really thinking of the repercussions we’ve made when we’re unaware of. The Earth is slowly crumbling, the most logical solution for now is to conserve and preserve the Earth’s richest resources: Our Environment, Habitats for the Animals, and gifts born from the soil of Mother Earth. Example, a nice looking radio in green which cost let say, RM 4.99. You will walked past the shelf that was displaying it, and thought, “Wow, isn’t this a bit cheap for a radio like that” What the public is unaware of would be the materials gathered to manufacture this product is from all around the world, the plastic from petroleum, the metals from the soil, the assembling of the unit from another place in the world. That sounds like lots of money spent, but why does it only cost RM 4.99. Well, the price is already paid, through the deterioration of nature herself. We also pledge for a sustainable world by reducing the use of Polystyrene Foam. (Styrene is a possible human carcinogen – WHO) We were made to shout out the one little thing we could do to achieve the sustainable world, like “Reducing the use of Polystyrene, or Reduce the waste of Paper!” Little things like that may seem insignificant, but when the efforts are gathered in a large scale, an impact is made.

The next day was something that place high importance in AIESEC, the election of Member Committee President! I was among the lucky spectators who got the chance to be a witness to such significant process happening in AIESEC. One thing I gained from the candidates of the President is their passion towards the change they are going to make when they got the seat of President. A very inspiring to see them go all out for what they believe and to be done in the later future, with everyone supporting their goals, to bring that Vision that we all will share into reality.

That night, the 5th night, Global Village is here! Each LC is in charge of a country in the world, and we are to present them to the other delegates. Love to see the efforts put into the task given, in terms of the costume, the booth, the awesome presentations. It’s really an eye opener.

The Last day of MyLDS has arrived! Gosh, aren’t we sad about parting so soon. Something this great coming to an end will bring tears to faces.

To conclude this documentary, qualities I’ve learnt throughout this wonderful 6 days:

Communication among people – Team Activities

Grabbing Opportunities in life – Sandy

Having Clear Goals and Challenging something more – Joel

Being Positive and Optimistic in Life – HIV speaker

Being Aware of the Surrounding – Environmental Speaker, Peter

Passion towards something believed strongly – Candidates of MCP Election

What are we? Youth!

Where were we? MyLDS 2009, UUM, Kedah!!

What are we going to do? To create a positive impact in the society!!!

Who are we??? AIESECers!!!!!!

Raining, Pouring, Updating.

Wow, with a blink of the eye,
November has arrived~!

Scorpios and Sagittariuses~!
Finally, It is our month now~!

Due to the exams been going on in my side of life,
the bluewarmth lost its heat, its flame, slowly fading..

Speaking of flames fading away..
Can you believe the weather nowadays in Malaysia?
Both East and West side has downpours everywhere..

This gloomy weather always gets my mood..
reminds me of that certain person..
when I was venturing into teenage life across the seas..

Hope she's doing fine as well.. Take care of yourself more, don't let the weather weakened you physically. =D

Started being more involved in an International Youth Organization that I've joined recently.
AIESEC rocks =)

And, snapped a few shots here and there..

I managed to explode my Rubik's cube as well..

Oh well..

Counting down the days for something magical to happen.

Friday of the august ^^

14th of August,
well.. It is a memorable day to this writer ^^
let's start when the day breaks then..
Woke up~ eyes were red with fatigue..
When for a shower.. Came out to listen to a very uplifting spirit album..
Had a feeling that today is going to be a good day..

When to school early, went loitering with a darling.. Ran through some physics points for a test i will be sitting for 30mins later.

Test ended, and 1 by 1, the lessons ended too..

Now, a planned journey was about to start..

went over to the box, to switch bags and all.. Invited a guest along..
Kinda embarassed about the clutter and the mess in that room though..
Next was lunch! My second favourite meal of the day..
Went to a restaurant to fill the empty void in the tummy..
Had some nice peach tea~
mmm~ so refreshing..
And a chic. chop.
Rating given~ 7/10..
Had to use the little boy's room after that..
Was located upstairs..
Shocked to see what's in waiting for me though..

Walked up, was empty.. Deserted~ unused and dusty tables.. With chairs stacked on them.. Typical setting of a zombie game scene..
Giving me the creeps.. >.<
and there was flickering lights as well..

Continued my journey to klang..
Walked to the train station..
1st unexpected event of the day..
Speakers turned on, 'The train will be delayed for an hour' gosh..
So.. Took out my earphones and indulge in a lil music..

'chook chook chook' train just arrived..
Boarded into it..

(still in the music zone)
2nd unexpected event of the day..
The train that we were boarding, wont be going to where it was supposed to..
So.. We were made to wait for the next train, at the next stop..

3rd unexpected event of the day,
the duration of time spent at the stop that we were made to get off..

we waited.. And waited.. And i sweated.. And waited.. (well.. You know how the cycle continues)
my host's father was waiting for us at the expected drop off stop.. Under the scorching sun..
Then the lil sweetheart (host) ask her father to use the newspaper to cover his legs..
(such an adorable conversation) ^^

When we reached her abode, wow, my jaws were left opened, such a cool place to live in.
There’s a nice and very modern layout, with a touch of tradition in it.

Ate very sweet pitaberry ^^
Stared at her very nice collection of trophies at her personal trophy case =D
Did some homework,
Got some tutoring.
Very helpful thanks to the great tutor.

Got a little snooze too..
A very refreshing nap =D

Woke up, just in time for dinner.
As I walked down the stairs,
The aroma of the meal slowly makes it way to the sensory cells in my nose.
Stimulating my tummy to growl a lil too..
We’re having the famous bah kut the in Klang,
But this is just a bit better, because it’s homemade~!
Superb taste, and I have an extra fried egg..
My favourite food by the way,
Added my second helping too..
Simply delicious if I may add.

Gosh~
Finally~
Looked at my inbox,
Unread mail was 1.
The result for my interview is out,
It started with a..
“sorry, … … ( I was like, gosh~ I didn’t get it.. >.< )
Then followed on with a ( congratulations~!! )
Yay~
Ahaha..
That was a good day ^^

Had tons of fun.
And I arrive back at the train stop, raining,
Luckily there was this cab available,
But he didn’t stop in front of where I wanted too..
So, I still have to get wet a little and use the umbrella.
But all in all.
What a wonderful Friday ^^

Almost Awesome August!

Wow~
Can you believe it~
August is here already~ ^^

Let me list out the highlights of current happenings then,
as I munched on my wonderful loaf of bread called 'Butterscotch' and with a nice chilled 'Dutch Lady full cream milk' beside me. ( my breakfast )

Let start with one thing I liked the most~
Songs~!
Recently I got my hands on something called the 'Smart Music'.
Thankie to my supplier =)

It's really interesting to listen to~
and supposedly you will be smarter after listening to it..
( I think it's starting to work >.< )
It's sounds of nature, water~ insects~ and such..
soothing to the ears yet functional for the brain.. best of both worlds huh~

We recently was assigned to do a presentation on something relating to maths for our Further Math class..
and there was this special lady..
who always pushes to a further mile~
she was presenting pi ..
a ratio that keeps going on and on and on~ and she memorized up to the 43th decimal for this presentation!
So cool~
Well.. I'm not so bad either..
I can type sufficient digits of decimal places into my calculator enough to be recognized as pi
>.<

Then..
Our dear chemistry lecturer just had her birthday~
another year elder,
another year wiser,
another year prettier =D

And our class wished her in different languages =D
Chinese-Cantonese: Sun Yat Fai Lok!
Chinese-Mandarin: qu ni sheng er kuai le
French: Joyeux Anniversaire!
German: Alles Gute zum Geburtstag!
Italian: Buon Compleanno!
Japanese: Otanjou-bi Omedetou Gozaimasu!
Spanish: Feliz Cumpleaños!
Thai: Suk San Wan Keut!

>.<
and.. I'm getting a haircut later..
apparently my hair is so big..
that the people sitting behind me can't see the board..
(gosh~)

Edited~ Just came back form my Assessment Day~
( kinda fun >.< )
Group activities and all~
I'm a Falcon~
( ka kwah~)
and a TEAM PLAYER~!

umm~ oh yea..
the influenza is spreading crazily over here..
must watch out for people who cough, sneeze.. and all.. >.<
I have an increasing number of friends falling ill..
gosh~
but it's not serious enough to be the Influenza A..
symptoms are alike..
but it will subside in few days..
maybe is a side influenza. gosh~
people reading this..
please be careful~
practice good personal hygiene~!

July Is Here!!!

First of all..
oh my gosh~ so sorry I didn't update for such a long period of time~!!
Things happening around me kept me occupied..

So,
let me continue where I last left it =D
(in this case... it will be a long post) ^^

After that may..
was an intense study period.
for the upcoming semester exam =D
and and..
it ended up as I didn't do a pretty well job of it..
Sorry papa sorry mama.. =(

and then..
it was the holidays =D
you won't believe how fast time flies when you're enjoying the holidays..

so..
i had my own sweet time.. ^^
listened to new albums =D

went to the park =D
played some basketball
took some friends over..

and here we are..
back into my mundane routine again.. =D
will upload the visual evidences soon
